What’s good vs. better

1997-2002
Began working as a consultant at Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy.
2002-2006
Joined Nike UK in the brand team, then later worked as European Marketing Director and ultimately UK General Manager for Hurley International, a Nike subsidiary.
2006-2010
Co-founded Attention Seekers, specialising in content and branded entertainment, working with clients such as Electronic Arts, SonyBMG, Nike, Channel 4 and Sky to produce live events, digital content and broadcast programming.
2010 – ongoing
Established individual consultancy offer focused on work with NGO’s and companies with alternative / more progressive business models, working with clients such as Nationwide, The Conservation Volunteers and the WWF as well as a number of smaller entrepreneurial ventures.
2014 – ongoing
Alongside individual strategic consultancy, co-founded Smith Dawson with Mark Smith, a brand consultancy with particular focus on breaking categories and redefining markets – involved in sectors such as property, community regeneration, care, think tanks and higher education.
Throughout (consultancy)
Alongside professional consulting, have worked in a pro-bono capacity on a number of high profile projects with both the Foreign Office and the Home Office, as well as a series of smaller initiatives with specific focus on homelessness, refugees and human rights.
Throughout (non-consultancy)
Qualified mediator for commercial mediation, currently practice in a voluntary capacity as a community mediator.
Outside of consultancy work, co-founded a boutique hotel on the South Coast of England and a gym in North London.
